Welcome to SharppSolars. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (sharppsolars.com or any subdomain), as well as any solar products, installation services, maintenance, quotations, or related offerings we provide ("Services").

By accessing the website, submitting an enquiry, accepting a quotation, or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. General

• SharppSolars ("we", "us", "our") is a solar energy solutions provider based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, offering design, supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of rooftop and ground-mounted solar photovoltaic systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
• These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "Customer", "User") and Sharp Solars.
• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Use of Website

• You may use the website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• You agree not to: (a) copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without written permission; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access; (c) transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code; (d) interfere with the website's functionality.
• All content (text, images, logos, designs) is owned by Sharp Solars or licensed to us and protected under Indian copyright and intellectual property laws.

3. Quotations & Services

• Any quotation provided is valid for the period stated (usually 30 days) and is subject to site survey, technical feasibility, shadow analysis, and final confirmation.
• Quotations are estimates only. Final pricing may vary due to changes in material costs, site conditions, government policies, or subsidy eligibility.
• We will perform Services with reasonable skill and care, in accordance with industry standards and applicable MNRE / state guidelines.
• Project timelines are indicative and subject to force majeure, material availability, approvals from DISCOM / local authorities, and timely receipt of payments.

4. Payment Terms

• Payments shall be made as per the agreed schedule in the quotation / work order (commonly advance + milestones + final on commissioning).
• All payments are non-refundable except as explicitly stated in writing or required by law.
• Taxes (GST, etc.) are extra as applicable and borne by the Customer unless otherwise specified.
• Delayed payments may attract interest at 18% p.a. and/or suspension of work / warranty support.

5. Warranty & Liability

• Product Warranty: Solar panels — typically 25 years performance (as per manufacturer); Inverters — 5–10 years; Structure — 10–25 years; Workmanship — 1–5 years (as specified in your work order).
• Warranties are subject to proper usage, maintenance, and no tampering / force majeure events (lightning, floods, etc.).
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sharp Solars shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, data, or business interruption.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific Services giving rise to the claim.

6. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide safe access to the site, accurate information, and necessary permissions / approvals (structural stability certificate, NOC, DISCOM approval, etc.).
• Maintain the system as per guidelines (regular cleaning, no modifications without consent).
• Pay all electricity bills and applicable charges during installation / commissioning phase.

7. Termination & Cancellation

Either party may terminate for material breach (with 15–30 days cure notice). On cancellation by Customer after work order acceptance, advance / incurred costs are non-refundable.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.
